Hi, ladies, if your world is anything like mine, sometimes things spring up at the very last minute. You know the days where you only have maybe 20 minutes toward doing your hair and polishing your face canvas. These are the days when I’m thankful for having brown skin; I can make myself into a block of Werther’s caramel. Makeup is like fashion: it leaves and always rotates back in to the swing of trends.

Don’t be afraid to go nude in the spring. Sure, the spring is all about a pop of color, but when you have only minutes and you just want to spruce yourself up and keep it moving, then nude is the way to go. Supermodels, such as Naomi Campbell (pictured), or actresses, such as Nicole Ari Parker, make nude make-up look timeless.
Today, I want to go over a few of my nudies.
These are the nudes that I keep on hand: Urban Decay, Naked Palette, Nars, Orgasm/ Laguna, Tom Ford, Nudes to Browns!
Urban Decay, Naked Palette is a classic palette for me; this is my go-to when I want to create a natural and softer look. I usually put Toasted on my lid, Hustle in my crease, and Naked on my brow bone. I also add black liner and a few coats of mascara…viola!
This peachy-pink light brown shimmer is my secret duo weapon to make my cheeks pop out. Try sweeping across both colors with your brush to achieve a perfect glow with a subtle pop of color.
Trust ME, this is way more than pretty packaging!
I love using Tom Ford’s Nudes to Browns collection; each hue of browns can be used in so many different ways. Henry (warm sable), pictured in the middle, is usually my lip of the day.
