After the uprising in 2011, Egypt is yet to successfully navigate the wilderness into stability. The country has been under both military and Mohamed Morsi’s democratic leadership.
President Abdel el-Sisi will hope his acolytes are chosen in a contest where the popular Muslim Brotherhood has been barred. Yet, what remains to be seen is how much el-Sisi can keep out the Brotherhood’s sympathizers from the National Assembly.
