Recognizing African Youth Excellence in Massachusetts

by Sandra Appiah, 12:00am August 02, 2012,

Worcester, MA., August 01, 2012— Many African youths in their leadership capacity continue to make positive changes in their communities. They are doing more outside of the classroom, and using their creative minds to help make significant differences in their neighborhoods. To honor these young achievers, Africa Youth Network in collaboration with 54 Kingdoms LLC and other stakeholders, will host a first ever African Youth Excellence Recognition Forum – recognizing exceptional young Africans in Massachusetts.

Recognizing African Youth Excellence in Massachusetts

The forum is a formal event expecting to draw in over 200 attendees all across New England. Tickets are available before and at the door. Tickets are $30 a person and it includes dinner, desert and drinks.

“It doesn’t take one person giving a lot, but a lot of people giving a few to create positive change.” – 54 Kingdoms LLC

About the Forum
The African Youth Excellence Recognition Forum seeks to honor young professionals who have illustrated exceptional accomplishments in leadership, entrepreneurship, and academics. The goal of this event is to empower the young leaders who have made a significant impact in their communities. It will also serve as a platform to educate the youth and public about the vision and mission of the Ghana Youth Awards (GYA), which will be held in Accra, Ghana on November 3rd, 2012. For more information on the Ghana Youth Awards, please visit http://www.ayonet.org. In addition, the forum will create a networking environment for young professionals and attendees, while raising funds to benefit the Ghana Youth Awards.
