Rihanna clapped back at a fan who criticized her sons’ names after she shared a heartfelt Instagram post celebrating International Women’s Day. The singer marked the occasion by posting birth photos of her sons, RZA, 2, and Riot Rose, 19 months.

She took a minute in her caption to honor how hard being a mom can be, writing, “by far the most powerful thing I’ve ever done as a woman…my little miracles! #InternationalWomensDay.”

“1- RZA 2- Riot Rose. And yes I gave birth in pearls and sunglasses…don’t ask, a lot was happening,” she added.

However, in the comments, one person criticized Rihanna’s sons’ names. “I hate their names so bad,” the person wrote in a since-deleted comment, per E! News.

“Ok tatiana,” Rihanna wrote back, tagging the user.

Rihanna, who shares sons RZA and Riot Rose with A$AP Rocky, praised her partner’s role as a father in a recent Harper’s Bazaar interview.

Calling it the “greatest thing” about him, she highlighted Rocky’s “pureness” and “charm” as a dad.

“I’m annoyed because my sons sometimes just live for him more than they live for me,” the singer told the outlet. “And I’m like, ‘Did you know who cooked you? Do you know who pushed you out?’ And they love him, but when I see it, oh, it’s the best.”

Rihanna has also said that her sons, RZA and Riot Rose, have distinct personalities but share a common love for music.

“RZA is just an empath,” Rihanna said. “He’s so magical. He loves music. He loves melody. He loves books. He loves water. Bath time, swimming, pool, beach, anything.”

Rihanna described her younger son, Riot, as “hilarious” and revealed that he takes after her, often trying to “sing”.

“When he wakes up, he starts to squeal, scream. Not in a crying way. He just wants to sing,” she said. “And I’m like, ‘Okay, here we go!’ He’s my alarm in the morning! He’s not taking no for an answer from anyone.”

Rihanna jokingly added, referencing his lively personality: “I don’t know where he came from, dude.”
