South Africa's Platinum Selling Artist Lira Wows New York City

Following her performance at the Ambassadors’ Inaugural Ball in Washington DC, South Africa’s leading female vocalist of the 21st century, LIRA returned to New York City to do a remarkable  performance at SOB’s. The South African soul singer belted out songs from her album, "Rise Again" along with some of her greatest hits: “Feel Good,” "Phakade," and “Rise Again.”

Lira’s live performance was a uniquely awesome experience and her voice – phenomenal! Wearing a taupe flowing dress, the songstress left it all on the stage. Not only did her buoyant smile and vibrant Mzansi dance moves release untainted air of joy into the atmosphere, but her South Africa's Platinum Selling Artist Lira Wows New York Cityuniquely expressive, radiant, and soulful sound succeeded in merging the best in soul, funk, reggae, and jazz, leaving many inside  the packed venue yearning and shouting for more… “Encore! Encore! Encore!

Not one bit surprised as to why Essence Magazine went on to name her one of the “Five Unique Artists to Change Music in 2012". For it is indeed obvious that this Platinum-Selling South African artist Lira has captured not only the hearts of Africans but also the hearts of Americans.
