MTV base is now on the search for the next Nigerian Video jockey / TV host for the channel. The VJ will be responsible for hosting shows on MTV Base, interviewing stars. MC-ing events, walking the red carpet and traveling the continent.
Got what it takes? Candidates must be Nigerian citizens between the ages of 28-25 and be eligible to work full time in Nigeria without the requirement of a work permit. They must speak fluent English or must not have been a presenter on any major television radio or station in Sub-Saharan Africa.
"Aspiring talents have already started sending in their entries via email. To become the next MTV Base VJ, send a brief video clip explaining why you should be the next VJ on MTV Base, or head down to the 2012 MTV Base VJ Search – Nigeria auditions which will take place at Fantasy Land, Lagos on the 1st of December," said Senior Vice President & Managing Director of Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Africa, Alex Okosi.
