These 7 classical African novels should be adapted for film

ETHIOPIA UNBOUND

Identified as the first book written in English by an African, Ethiopia Unbound is an African Classic Literature that takes on very intellectual subjects through interesting characters and situations. Written by the Ghanaian journalist, lawyer and writer J.E Casely Hayford, the book is a study of race emancipation covering a range of themes including the philosophy of a United Africa, love, community and rationalism. In this book, Africa as a whole is represented by Ethiopia. It would be particularly interesting to follow how our big screen professionals pull off certain scenes and relive the life of an African philosopher and his family in a 1911 African society.
