Festivals play a huge role in the promotion and preservation of human culture.

There are festivals that celebrate tribes and their origins, as well as those that celebrate religions, art, seasons, films, and even food.

In the same way, there have been festivals that have celebrated some unique life moments such as the birth of twins. And while many of these festivals across the world have been specified as ‘Twins festival’, other multiple birth individuals such as triplets, quadruplets and even quintuplets, have severally joined these gatherings.

In Africa, the same exists. In this article, Face2Face Africa brings you some of the biggest festivals on the continent that have a specialty for celebrating twins, either entirely or fused into bigger ceremonies.
