Whitney Houston

Whitney Houston battled a host of personal demons in her lifetime. The RnB singer was a global sensation who sold out event venues and made records that appealed to all categories of people.

Before her death on February 11, 2012, the singer was invited on stage by Kelly Price during the Kelly Price & Friends pre-Grammys party.

He said to Whitney as she joined him on stage, “You are a class act; you are an icon.”

After the show, Houston reportedly got into a verbal altercation with singer Stacy Francis, but it quickly defused. Two days later, Houston was found dead in her hotel room.
