Lagos, Nigeria
Nigeria’s largest city, Lagos, is known as a business nerve centre and the commercial capital of West Africa. And although this city has every odd stacked against it, it remains one of the most popular cities in the world.
Lagos is a city that is known to never go to sleep as people are seen on its streets at every hour of the day, whether day or night. By 5:00 am, traffic in the city begins to build up.
The city attracts skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled workers from across West Africa and beyond due to its large number of companies, organizations and multinationals.
Lagos, according to the index, is the second least livable city in the world and the first in Africa.
