Football player Santonio Holmes and his son have lived with the disease till date.
Due to the effect of Sickle Cell Anemia, the Super Bowl champion started his III & Long Foundation. The purpose is to raise awareness to help fight Sickle Cell disease and provide financial support to families affected by the disease.
