Bob Marley – Trench Town

A global icon by all standards, Bob Marley was the poster boy of reggae music. This ghetto as some might describe is located in the neighborhood of Kingston, Jamaica. The most distinctive feature of the neighborhood was an open sewer trench.

Despite this, the slum is the birthplace of rocksteady and reggae music and has produced some of the world’s greatest reggae artists. It is also home to the Wailers, Toots & the Maytals, Peter Tosh, Dean Fraser, and The Techniques.
