Ida Wells: A Passion For Justice

Born into slavery in Mississippi, Ida Wells fought her way through racism and discrimination to become one of the most talked-about women in the U.S. She was an investigative journalist, educator and a co-founder of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

This movie, “Ida Wells: A Passion For Justice”  highlights the dramatic life of journalists of African American descent, activists, suffragist and anti-lynching crusaders of the post-Reconstruction period.
