This mother of four is helping aspiring entrepreneurs through her 7-figure beauty brand

Meet Electra Harris, founder of the 7-figure black-owned brand, Mysteek Naturals, a chemical-free hair color product. She started developing her brand in 2016, which has grown to become one of the favorites of many. The mother of four launched her company two years after becoming a divorced single mother.

According to Harris, she started her company because she was looking for an alternative to the rinses that weren’t giving her the vibrant popping color that she so badly wanted without the harmful chemicals.

“I started my company because, like so many other women, I was looking for an alternative to the rinses that weren’t giving me the vibrant popping color that I so badly wanted, without the harmful chemicals and process of using a developer to bleach my hair to get that vibrant color I so badly desired,” she told VoyageATL.

The entrepreneur grew up as an only child living in Buffalo, NY, with her mom, who was often not with her; she was mostly left in the company of her grandparents. At the age of 8, she was sexually abused by her uncle.

She later moved in with her father when the sexual abuse was discovered. At the age of 15, she started working and paid rent to her dad. Harris later joined the army at the age of 18 after graduating from high school.

She got married while in the army but left while going through a bitter divorce. While her experiences were emotionally damaging, Harris says she learned tenacity from her predicament, as well as being independent and becoming an entrepreneur.

Today, her brand brings in seven figures every year, and her products are sold around the world, including Amazon and Walmart.com.

Now the mother of four says she wants to help aspiring entrepreneurs achieve their goals by hosting a free webinar.

“Her webinar is an interactive beauty and hair course that has 10 modules and 8 weeks of videos and downloadable resources that’s a deep dive into her personal profit accelerator system. It’s called “Beauty & Hair Business Secrets From a 7 Figure Earner,” according to Black News.
