How to make “good trouble“
“Making good trouble” is a maxim that has become synonymous with the public persona of John Lewis. The phrase summarises what Lewis and colleagues intended to do with their struggle everywhere they went.
Civil rights activists knew they had the moral argument on their side. But it is one thing identifying with “the good” and another fighting for it.
For us, this realization becomes necessary in our campaign for some things such as a greener world and closing the gap on wealth inequality. Believing the right things are not enough.
