6. Amadu Bello Univeristy – Zaria, Nigeria
While this is a list of five, we had to throw in an honorable mention. Amadu Bello University (ABU) was founded in 1962 and boasts one of the largest teaching hospitals in Nigeria. Originally made up of several colleges in the Kaduna area, ABU now covers about 7,000 hectares of land with 12 academic faculties. Against the typography of northern Nigeria, ABU’s colorful buildings are a gorgeous site.
