International Beer Day is a global celebration of beer. The annual event celebrates folks who love beer. Pubs and breweries the world over raise a toast to brewers and bartenders rejoice in the greatness of beer. 

Arguably the most widely consumed product in the world, Africans have brewed beer since time immemorial to suit their taste.

The bigger brands continue to dominate the space without a doubt, however, the importance of local beer can not be underestimated.

To commemorate International Beer Day which is today, Face2Face Africa shares with you some local African beers that are still being widely consumed till date.
