From models strutting the fashion week runways in hijabs to getting glammed up for a night out with the girls, there are different ways to style a hijab.

Hijab is in mainstream fashion and we are so here for it. In London, there’s now the Modest Fashion week where models showcase modest high fashion and hijabs.

The word hijab technically means ‘hiding’, ‘curtain’ or ‘veil’ and has no direct link to scarfs. However, in Islam, women wear the hijab as a sign of modesty. It’s part of their belief to cover their hair with the scarf in conformance with their beliefs.

Now modesty shouldn’t be an excuse to wear your hijab in a boring way. There are simple and easy to recreate styles you can wear your hijab for any occasion.

Browse through the styles here for some good inspiration.
