Supporters of a soccer club in Colombia are calling for a player to be punished after he was seen flashing his penis in an apparent attempt to distract an opponent who was about to take a free kick. According to TMZ, the Sunday incident occurred during a Colombian first-division match between Santa Fe and Jaguares de Córdoba.
The player who flashed his manhood was identified as Santa Fe defender Geisson Perera. And Perera is said to have carried out the act as a Jaguares de Córdoba player was getting ready to take a free kick. Perera apparently wanted to prevent his opponent from scoring from the free kick – hence his awkward act.
Footage of the incident showed Perera revealing his manhood not too long after the Jaguares de Córdoba player stood behind the ball to take the free kick. It cannot be established if Perera’s actions contributed to his opponent missing the free kick.
But Jaguares de Córdoba fans expressed outrage over the incident and demanded the 31-year-old Santa Fe defender be punished after the game. Others also called for Perera to be relieved of his duties as a Santa Fe player.
Perera’s bizarre act did not have an effect on the outcome of the game as his team ultimately lost. The defender did not also face any punishment in the wake of the incident.
One Colombian first division contest was marred by a particularly bizarre moment when Sante Fe defender Geisson Perera pulled down his pants to try and distract an opposition free-kick taker.
