As season two of the exciting talk show, Sherri, promises to be bigger, there is one significant feature that the audience will have to brace themselves for — the reduction in the boob size of host Sherri Shepherd.

Though there has been a lot of commentary about her breast size, the reason she decided to undergo breast reduction surgery is to have the once-in-a-lifetime experience of how it feels to sleep on one’s stomach.

She said in her career she has had to deal with persistent comments about her boob size, with some suggesting she considers a reduction. But, that hasn’t been of much bother to her than the discomfort she experiences when she sleeps, according to BET.

For Sherri, her breast weight was perhaps equal to carrying the world on her shoulder. She added that the large breasts had caused her significant distress. She continued that her cup size had adverse effects on her health and posture, leading to constant slouching and severe back pain. According to her, she developed shoulder grooves as a result.

On whether she regretted her breast reduction journey, Sherri responded not at all. As much as she appreciates the role her bigger breasts have played in her life, the new ones make her feel lighter. She expressed happiness about her breast reduction, mentioning her previous 42DD size. She however described the decision to reduce her boob size as bittersweet, while expressing mixed emotions about the change.

She added that this journey wouldn’t have been successful without the strong support net offered by her girlfriends during tough and easy times.
