Authorities in Milwaukee said three teenagers accused of killing a Domino’s driver committed the said crime as they allegedly attempted to steal the pizza he was delivering. According to WISN, 33-year-old Antoine Gee Jr. was delivering the pizza to the three suspects on January 10 when he was fatally shot.

Authorities said the fatal incident happened around Sherman Boulevard and Congress Street. The three suspects, who are all aged 17, were identified as Armier McArthur, Keyshaun McNealy, and Damain Patrick. They have since been arrested and charged with felony murder.

The criminal complaint stated that a witness informed police that the trio had arranged to place an order for pizza and then “snatch it.” The incident, which was captured on surveillance camera, shows Gee arriving at the aforementioned location to make the pizza delivery. The complaint states that three individuals are later seen meeting up with the driver. Gee and two of those individuals later get into a struggle, prosecutors said in reference to the footage.

Gunshots later ring out before the three people flee the scene, leaving Gee motionless in the median. The Milwaukee County medical examiner said the 33-year-old was struck three times.

“It’s senseless what they did. These are kids that did this. And you took away a good one for nothing,” Gee’s uncle, Jerome Avery Sr., said. “When you took him, you didn’t just ruin his life, you ruined a community.”

Gee’s sister, Kashmer Toliver, also said her deceased brother “had the biggest smile.” “He don’t even like to smile, so for him to smile at you? You’re one of a kind,” she added.

The three suspects could each be sentenced to up to 55 years in prison if they’re found guilty of the murder, WISN reported. “All they had to do was ask. He probably would have given them the pizza and paid for it himself,” Toliver said.

Gee’s mother has since set up a GoFundMe to help raise funds for his funeral. “To the media he’s just a pizza delivery man, but to his family he was the backbone. He was a truck driver, a landlord, a brother, a nephew, an investor,” the fundraiser states.

“On January 10th I lost my oldest child, my only son. My son was gunned down while delivering pizza. While this has been a very stressful time, making funeral arrangements for my only son has been a lot.”
