Halloween 2024 is shaping up to be quite stylish, with celebrities dressing up as their ‘other selves’ in eye-catching costumes. From popular film references to beloved characters, these stars are truly putting their all into their Halloween looks.
Here’s our list of 10 celebrities who have nailed their costumes this year!
- Lizzo
Lizzo’s ‘LizzOzempic’ costume was quite shocking, as she made light of the South Park episode that mocked her weight. With her own twist this time, she noted that the side effects “include a smile on your face and a pep in your step.”
She definitely made lemonade out of them lemons, and slayed in the process!
- Megan Thee Stallion
Megan’s love for animation is no secret. So, it is no surprise that for Halloween she dressed up as the popular cartoon superhero “Starfire,” the powerful alien in DC’s Teen Titan. Her costume could also be a pun for her viral song “Mamushi” with the popular chorus “Star, Star, Star!”
Her beautiful cosplay earned her a “Sexaaayyyyyyyyyy” in the comments from Cardi B.
- Janelle Monáe
The popular singer appeared on Jennifer Hudson’s talk show entirely unrecognizable in a highly accurate full-body E.T. costume. Her photoshoot recreated some of the best moments from the beloved film.
- China Anne McClain
The Disney star dressed up as the iconic Nightmare on Elm Street villain, Freddy Krueger, even including the knife hands.
- Halle Bailey
New mom Halle Bailey didn’t look too far for her costume. She looked amazing as Halle Berry’s action character Jinx in Die Another Day, stealing the concept from her initials-bearing celebrity.
Berry didn’t forget to give her a nod and commented, “Awe …my girl did that! What a huge compliment! Love you, angel.”
- Chloe Bailey
Chloe didn’t leave all the fun to her sister. She too wowed her fans as Jessica Rabbit from the popular Disney 1988 comedy Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
- Ciara
Ciara ‘leveled-up’ in her costume as supermodel Naomi Campbell in Azzedine Alaia Fall 1991 by Guy Marineau.
Fans in her comments raved about how great the mom of four looked and joked about how they were looking forward to her husband Russell’s response, with one saying, “Okay, I’ll be back in 9 months to congratulate you on your next baby!”
- Jennifer Hudson
Hudson showed up as The Queen of the Night, portrayed by Whitney Houston’s character in Bodyguard, for her talk show.
- Ice Spice
Ice Spice dressed up in the iconic rubber getup of Milla Jovovich’s character Leeloo in the 1997 movie Fifth Element.
Meanwhile, whether it was a misunderstanding of her costume or whether she really nailed her look, fans in her comments showed concern for her health.
Still, she ate the look!
- Halle Berry
Though many celebs chose to dress up as her, Berry chose to dress up as a classic witch with a pointed hat and a black cat.
As she said in her caption, “No need for tricks when me and my little black kitty are the treat! Happy International Black Cat Day y’all!! #Coco”
