Floyd Roger Myers Jr., a former child actor who briefly appeared in The Fresh Prince of Bel Air sitcom series, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday at the age of 42.
Myers’ mother, Renee Trice, told TMZ that her son succumbed to a heart attack in his Maryland home. Trice said that was her son’s fourth heart attack in the span of three years. She also said that she and her son had spoken the night before his death.
Myers is remembered for playing a young Will Smith in an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, with that being his first acting gig. He also appeared in the The Jacksons: An American Dream television series, playing the role of a young Marlon Jackson.
Myers’ sister, Tyree Trice, has since set up a GoFundMe to help raise funds for his family. Tyree, in the fundraiser, disclosed that her deceased brother is survived by his four children, and their “loving family is now facing the unimaginable loss of someone who meant everything to us.”

Tyree also described Myers as a “devoted father, loving brother, and friend whose kindness, laughter, and warmth touched everyone he met.”
“This fundraiser was created to help relieve some of the financial burden that comes with this sudden tragedy,” the fundraiser also states. “All funds raised will go toward funeral expenses, supporting his children, and helping us navigate this difficult time as we grieve and adjust.”
The Fellaship Mens Group, an organization co-founded by Myers, also paid tribute to him in a post on Instagram.
“RIP to our good brother @rocwonder one of our co founders. Gone but never will be forgotten,” the organization wrote. “The mission will continue in your honor. Next mens meeting will be one for the books like we talked about! Love you bro, rest easy, big bro will take it from here???????? ????????”
