During Thursday’s episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian touched on Kanye West’s public outbursts and how his actions have privately affected her.
Per TooFab, Kardashian, 45, touched on her ex-husband’s behavior during conversations with her sister Kourtney’s ex-boyfriend Scott Disick, as well as the show’s producers.
Though Kanye, 48, has previously claimed that he was not being allowed to spend time with their children, Kardashian said her ex-husband was rather not communicating with their kids. Kardashian and Kanye share two daughters: North, 12, and Chicago, 7, as well as two sons: Saint, 9, and Psalm, 7.
“By the way, I’m sorry about all that you’re going through. It looks stressful,” Disick told Kardashian while they were riding in a car, though he did not mention Kanye’s name. “I mean, I see some stuff and it’s like, f–k.'”
Kardashian responded that it was “hard.” During a confessional, a producer also said that the billionaire socialite and businesswoman’s “ex is very loud out there.”
“I just can’t really engage, I think it’s just for the better,” Kardashian replied. The scene was then cut back to the 45-year-old and Disick’s conversation.
“By the way, never once called,” Kardashian said in reference to Kanye. “I mean, I always encourage a relationship, but a healthy one.”
Kardashian also admitted that it’s “just frustrating that my character as a mom” comes under scrutiny. “Sometimes I just feel like snapping, but I can’t. I just can’t,” she added, per TooFab.
Kardashian, in a different confessional, stated that her “only focus and job is really just to be strong for my kids.”
Disick also touched on Kardashian’s situation at some point in the episode, stating that she “has been able to stay so calm during pretty much anything.”
“She’s able to bottle up her emotions. Not sure where they go. Maybe she’s tucking them under her butt, that’s why it’s so big,” he jokingly added.
