Just in case you missed it, Senegal became the first African country to win a game at the 2018 FIFA World Cup with a well-deserved 2-1 victory over Poland.
A first-half own goal from Polish player Thiago Cionek and a second-half strike from M’Baye Niang was enough to secure the Lions of Teranga a victory at the Spartak Stadium in Russia on Tuesday.
To top off a very memorable day, the Senegalese fans at the stadium showed a touch of class and a typical display of good African manners and home training by helping clean the stands after the match.
