Due to its bright colors, the Ankara print has proven very difficult to style up for a formal or corporate event. Many Africans have therefore resorted to playing it safe and by wearing suits and following western style dressing codes when attending a formal or cooperate event.
But aside from being appropriate for colorful events and celebrations, the Ankara print, if styled well could be fit for any occasion including a cooperate or formal event. The sun is up and already adding more color to our lives, but the Ankara print can still be your first choice of clothing for an event like this year’s Pan-African Weekend which will take place from July 12-15.
