Nicki Minaj has just bestowed 37 of her ride or die fans with academic scholarships that will cover tuition and loans.

On Friday, Onika Miraj, as she was named at birth, announced the “Student of the Game” scholarship awardees on Twitter, much to the fanfare of the winners.

Like Minaj, there are several other black celebrities whose charitable actions are making the news.
