Starring critically acclaimed actors Lupita Nyong’o and David Oyelewo, this movie is based on the true story of Phiona Mutesi, a Ugandan school girl residing in the slums of Katwe. With the help of her mentor, Robert Katende, who runs the after-school program which she joins, she finds herself playing to becoming a Chess champion.
