The African Doctor (2016)

Director: Julien Rambaldi

This Francophone film is based on a true story. It narrates the story of Congolese Doctor Seyolo Zantoko who chooses to stay and work in France after completing his studies. He relocates his two kids and wife from Congo to France in order to join him at his newly stationed workplace, a small village in the countryside of France. To the surprise of the doctor and his family, the integration in their new home is not quite smooth sailing because of the ignorance, racism and discrimination they have to face from the locals.
