- She understands the meaning of partnership
To many, a partnership is “sharing everything 50/50.” However, I do not believe that a “50/50” partnership is a successful partnership. In my opinion, a great partnership is borne out of two people who honestly understand that they have strengths and weaknesses. And in the areas where they are weak, their partner’s strength is important. The African woman understands this. She knows that you are the man in the relationship and she is never interested in being “the man.” She accepts your role as “the man” and lets your strengths be her strengths in areas where she is weak. Consequently, as a man, you should also accept her role as “the woman,” and let her strength be your strength in areas where you are weak.
