Ja Funmi by Sunny Ade

The above is one of the favourite hits of the Nigerian music legend who received great acclaim in Europe and North America in 1982 after the release of Juju Music in 1982 and its accompanying tour.

His style of music, which he described as juju, is derived from traditional Yoruba percussion, characterised by other instruments such as the talking drum, an instrument indigenous to his Yoruba roots and the guitar.

The other hit tracks of the 71-year-old musician include Ja Funmi, Ase, Ota Mi Ma Yo Mi and Sunny Ti de Ariya.
