At Super Bowl Opening Night, 11-year-old Jeremiah Fennell turned heads in Las Vegas as an NFL reporter. Ahead of the big game, the young prodigy was observed interviewing quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, tight end Travis Kelce, and head coach Andy Reid for NFL Network.

Jeremiah demonstrated his football acumen alongside Chiefs quarterback Mahomes earlier this week, when they formed their all-time fantasy football lineups.

Jeremiah told KMBC, “It’s honestly just been amazing knowing that I’m going to be able to get all these amazing opportunities and meet all these incredible people.”

Denver7 reported that Jeremiah was born with multiple brain abnormalities, including missing a gland in his brain. He was born ten weeks early, yet he’s learned to read and write, and most importantly, he loves watching football play-by-play broadcasts.

Jeremiah has perfected his journalistic craft, although his medical issues prevent him from participating in contact sports.

The Las Vegas native is a Raiders supporter. Because of his skills, he was able to interview Raiders players during the regular season. At the 2023 Pro Bowl, which took place in Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, he received his big break.

Even at his age, the young professional stated he never feels star-struck, saying, “Never, because I know deep down in my heart that they’re all people.”

“Just because they’re popular doesn’t mean that they’re different from everybody. So, no, I never get starstruck with people, but I do get excited to see people.”

Jeremiah has also conducted interviews with Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff and Vice President Kamala Harris.

According to his website, Jeremiah was the first journalist to join Sports 4 Free Youthmedia on October 8, 2022, and was given the chance to prove to the world that all of his effort and the many hours he spent pretending to interview sportsmen had not been in vain.
