2014 World Cup Brazil: Cameroon Releases Final Squad

The squad is ready! Cameroon’s national football coach Volker Finke released the final 23-man squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The Indomitable Lions are in Group A with Brazil, Croatia and Mexico.

Cameroon is no stranger to the World Cup as this is their seventh year of competing. The squad will get started on June 14th against Mexico in Natal, followed by Croatia in Manus on June 18th.  On June 23rd the squad will compete against Brazil.

See who made the squad and their position:

Goalkeepers: Charles Itandje (Konyaspor/TUR), Sammy Ndjock ( Fethiyespor/ TUR), Loïc Feudjou ( Coton Sport / Cameroon )

Defenders: Allan Nyom ( Granada / ESP), Dany Nounkeu ( Besiktas / TUR) , Cédric Djeugoue ( Coton Sport / CMR) , Aurelien Chedjou ( Galatasaray / TUR) , Nicolas Nkoulou (Marseille / FRA ), Henri Bedimo ( Lyon / FRA), Benoit Assou- Ekotto (Queens Park Rangers /ENG) .

Midfielders: Eyong Enoh ( Antalyaspor / TUR ), Jean II Makoun (Rennes / FRA) , Joel Matip (Schalke / GER), Stéphane Mbia (Sevilla / ESP), Landry Nguemo (Bordeaux / FRA ), Alexandre Song ( Barcelona / ESP ) , Edgar Sally (Lens / FRA)
