Gele

Gele is a headwrap specifically wrapped in an extravagant style that flows outward to resemble an intricately made fan. It’s traditionally worn for special occasions such as weddings and other fancy occasions and is most popular in the Western part of Africa, however, this is changing as inhabitants of other regions in Africa are adopting the unique head style and pairing it with casual clothes such as jeans.
