Three-time Grammy winner Megan Thee Stallion has been selected as one of the hosts for the 2024 Anime Awards.

Sharing her excitement for the role, the 28-year-old rapper said in a statement, “Watching anime is one of my favorite things to do!”

She added, “I love cosplaying all of my favorite characters, I love the storytelling, and I love getting inspiration from the different anime art styles! I’m really excited for the opportunity to attend and present an award at this year’s Crunchyroll Anime Awards. I’m looking forward to traveling to Tokyo and joining my fellow anime lovers as we celebrate and honor the best anime creators and shows in the world.”

Along with the list of categories and candidates, Deadline announced that fan voting for the 2024 Anime Awards is currently open through January 27 at 11:59 p.m.

Last September, the famed rapper joined the cast of Netflix’s Emmy-winning animated comedy “Big Mouth” in its seventh season, playing the voice of a “Hormone Monster”, an essential creature that helps people go through adolescence. Her character is shown as a shapely figure with horns and long, flowing hair.

“Aw, s**t, booty fatter than a pear, your hormone monstress Megan is here,” the “Savage” rapper said in the trailer as she slid down a giant tongue.

According to HipHopDX, the “Cobra” singer recently contributed to the Mean Girls musical soundtrack and even played a Regina George-like persona in the music video for “Not My Fault” with Reneé Rapp.
