Demera (Ethiopian Restaurant)

Located at 4801 N. Broadway, Chicago, IL, Demera’s well-lit space offers diverse dishes on its menu, with a few glossary terms to guide newcomers. The seating arrangement offers communal dining at a table to give groups an authentic experience of the inner environment, with spacious glass windows for outside viewing.

The restaurant serves different mouth-watering cuisines, including the spicy yesiga wot blended with tender chunks of beef, onions, and ginger in a rich berbere sauce. As expected, Demera has good facilities with top-notch customer service and wheelchair access. It is owned by Chef, Tigist Reda, who was born and raised in Ethiopia and has lived in Chicago for over 20 years.
