Luella’s Southern Kitchen

Aside from taking what is readily available on the menu, this classy kitchen offers customers the opportunity to order their favorite meal prepared from scratch to their taste. You have a taste of Slagel Farm’s beef and melted cheddar cheese, tender buttermilk-fried chicken served with warm collards braised with ham hock, and other alluring meals.

Located at 4609 N. Lincoln Ave, Chicago, Luella’s southern kitchen’s facilities and services include air conditioning, bring your own, brunch, and wheelchair access. The restaurant is owned by Chef, Darnell Reed, who has more than 18 years of experience in the hospitality business. It’s named after Luella Funches, the great-grandmother of Darnell Reed, and is open for dine-in, pickup, and delivery from Thursdays to Sundays at different times and durations.
