Born in Boston, Massachusetts to Nigerian parents, Uzo Aduba shot into the limelight for her role as “Suzanne ‘Crazy Eyes’ Warren in “Orange is the new black”, a Netflix comedy series which grabbed her several accolades including two Emmy Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2014 and 2015. She also wrote her name in the history books by becoming one of only two actors to win an Emmy in both comedy and drama categories for the same role. Uzo Aduba has starred in other film and television shows including Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, My Little Pony: The Movie, Saturday Night Live, Hell’s Kitchen, among others.
