DJ Zinhle – South Africa
A popular and talented DJ in her native land of South Africa, DJ Zinhle owns FUSE, an academy geared towards empowering women who wish to pursue DJing careers.
Real name Ntombezinhle Jiyane, DJ Zinhle served as the resident DJ on the SABC1 music show Jika Majika and hosted her own radio show on YFM. She is also an actress, having appeared on television series like Rhythm City and eKasi: Our Stories.
She broke onto the music scene in 2004 with vinyl mixes. She is the first female DJ ever to release a house compilation in South Africa. DJ Zinhle has a daughter named Kairo with rapper AKA.
