Though she was advised to stay away from Chris Brown initially, Streeter didn’t heed the warnings.
She explained, “To hell with you,’ because at the end of the day, I’m not gonna judge somebody by what I read in a magazine or see on TV or their circumstance. “Let me gather and gain my own opinions and views according to my interaction with him.” “And, thank God I did [form my own relationship with him], because he’s just like you and me.”
Even though the two have had some transitions in their friendship due to evolving and challenges that arise in everyday life, they are still friends.
“We actually haven’t worked together in a very long time. It’s not something that I necessarily want, but I just think that he has a lot going on in his life. I love him and he loves me, that’s my brother — he will always be a brother to me — but it’s just a lot of different dynamics that I think were out of our control,” Streeter said.
