Moribayassa (Guinea)
The moribayasa is prominent among the Malinke people in Guinea.
It is showcased by women who have endured and survived great adversity.
The woman begins by dancing in old and worn clothing.
She is accompanied by musicians as she makes her rounds throughout her village several times while singing and dancing, as documented by Bino and Fino.
The woman dancing is followed by the additional women in her village and also sing and dance.
Lastly, the dancer changes her clothing and buries it in a unique area.
