Bella Mondo – Cote D’Ivoire’s
The group which started in 2007 is now a household name with its music spanning a wide range of styles: reggae, pop music, and funk. The band released their first album in 2013, and have performed in Paris, Dakar, and Cotonou.
How did it all begin for the group? A music producer came to see one of the members of the group – Prisca Allou, who was a music student in 2007. The producer had wanted to make an all-female orchestra to fulfil a promise to his late mother.
