Zimbali Golf Course
The 18-hole golf course designed by Tom Weiskopf is part of the Zimbali Country Club located in the Zimbali Coastal Estate on the North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Zimbali is an eco-conscious golf course and estate featuring impressive and lovely vegetation, coastal forest, and bird life. It is home to Louries, the rare Crowned Eagle, and several types of Kingfishers. Founded on November 7, 1998, the hybrid course has both a Links and Coastal Forest 18-hole course with the tee boxes situated in slightly tricking positions for environmental sustainability. The first eleven holes are across the rolling hills, presenting an ideal vantage point and magnificent view, while the 12th to 18th holes run across the Zimbali indigenous forest.
