Emperor Menelik II

Menelik II

He was Emperor of Ethiopia from 1889 to 1913. Menelik II led his people to victory against the Italians in the first Italo-Ethiopian War, the Battle of Adwa in 1896. He ruled Ethiopia till his death in 1913.
