The typical black household in the area earns $31,653 a year (41.5 per cent) of the white median household income of $76,208. In terms of home ownership, the rate is 24.6 per cent for black people as compared to 75.8 per cent for whites.
Unemployment rate for black residents is at 12.3 per cent while it is 3.9 per cent for white residents.
