2. She wanted to be a lawyer
McClinton grew up wanting to become a lawyer thanks to the influence of the TV show “Matlock.” She also wanted to be a hairdresser, a preacher and an actress. She has had a go at all four, even though her only formal training for any of the four has been going to law school.
