Time magazine, one of world’s leading publications, has just released its 2017 “Top 100 Most Influential People” list, with seven feted Africans making the cut.

The U.S.-based publication released the names early Thursday, with those who made the list being introduced in a brief profile authored by another renowned person.

The coveted list, which features legendary personalities from around the world, is divided into five main categories, including artists, pioneers, leaders, titans, and icons.

Other prominent people featured on the list include U.S. President Donald Trump, former U.S. President Barack Obama, Pope Francis, Russian President Vladimir Putin, British Prime Minister Theresa May, and more.

Here, Face2Face Africa takes a look at the three Africans who made the list.
