Portside Tower
Opened in 2014, it is the tallest building in Cape Town and the city’s first significant skyscraper developed in the central business district in 15 years. Uniquely covered in blue glass and the first tower of its kind to have the least amount of energy consumption, the iconic building is jointly owned by FirstRand Bank and Old Mutual. A whopping $138 million went into the building that has 32 floors and can accommodate 3000 people.
