Language
When Uganda was recently ranked as the best English speaking country in Africa, this sparked another debate over which African country speaks the Queen’s language better.
According to the World Linguistic Agency report, South Africa was the second best English speaking African nation followed by Nigeria.
Social media trolls definitely did not spare those at the bottom, that is, Ghana, Rwanda and Sudan. But they, of course, hit back, mocking others for their weird accents.
This debate is rather needless considering some African countries were not colonized by the British, and hence their Lingua Franca differs. For such people, fluency in English will be rather impossible.
