The American multinational technology company had for a long time hired employees who came from top universities and who also had high grades. That is no longer the case as the tech giant now places more emphasis on specific skills or experiences than degrees.
“It’s the ability to learn. It is the ability to process on time. It’s the ability to bring together different types of information,” Laszlo Bock, then vice president of human resources at Google said in 2014.
